Ontological Examination of Pragmatism in Social Science

Updated: Jul 5, 2022

The question of what parameters set forth expand the potential implications of pragmatism in social science is a transcendental consideration in and of itself; in that, to corroborate the currently accepted ontological perspective related to social science, it may be essential to acquire and explicate the following requisites in relation to these contextual factors:

(I) It must clarify information structure as a theoretical mediation that may or may not encapsulate fallacious argument.

(II) Sociocultural theories validate epistemological parameters, which extend the collective social framework that enables a stratification system as a form of interpersonal and metaphysical implications

(III) It presents an external and independent constraint in the affirmation of agency and its axiological province.

This means:

(I) surmising pragmatic use in anti-foundational reasoning insinuates that truth-relativism is objectively, methodically, and consequently establishing merit for a dichotomic conceptual model of neorealism integrated with; (II) a social realist meta-theory regarding the pragmatism of emergent properties to elucidate the methodology (i.e. the identification of alternative specific concepts and practical research) that provides validation and theoretical expansion for this conceptual mediation and opportunities for a transcendental movement in social reality.

Bottom Line

This theory is only an alternate role for ontological projections in the philosophy of social science, which operates much more efficiently in this regard by emphasizing the ontological principles underlying complex interpersonal theories, scientific models, and relevant interpretative approaches that have been established in the field.
